In this particular area of the park oxidation has produced a myriad of colors in the dried lakebed sediments. While different colors appear all along the several mile Artist Drive, they are particularly intense and concentrated at the Artist's Palette; about halfway along the drive.
Next stop, Badwater, the lowest point in the United States...
