||Sitting between Monterey and Santa Cruz (and really a south extension of Santa Cruz) is the town of Capitola. It's a resort community, known for its begonia gardens. The city celebrates a Begonia Festival in early September each year.|
|One of the better known gardens in the area is the Antonelli Brothers Gardens. In their greenhouse you can view many different types of begonias; most available for purchase.||
