Main Amphitheater

If you visit the park and have limited time, the single point you should visit is the Sunset Point viewpoint. It's here that you get the most spectacular view of the hoodoos and it's there that all the "classic" pictures of Bryce are taken. The panorama below is a combination of three images, but represents only about 90 degrees of the 180-degree view you get at the viewpoint.

The first viewpoint you get to in the park is Sunrise Point. The view here stretches out to the horizon and, while it does not include many spectacular hoodoos, it shows the full beauty of the high plateau area of southwest Utah.
