Welcome to my recipe collection. It's not my intention to create a cookbook here. This is just a collection of recipes that I've found interesting over the years. They come from modifications to published recipes, family hand-me-downs, or just things I've made up. And, I'm not Emeril or Julia Child so please don't expect exotic ingredients or fancy presentations!
I'll be adding recipes slowly to this section since I'm trying to fully document them with pictures. That, of course, means that I have to be cooking them. I have not tried to categorize recipes since what I might want for one meal you might find useful for another or as an add-on.
Also, I've recently added a "low fat" section to each recipe where I've noted some things you can do to reduce the fat and maybe increase the fiber. I've adopted a generally lower fat and higher fiber diet and need to adapt current recipies and add new.
To the extent possible I've not included exact measurements. I cook for a particular group of appetites; you probably cook for a different set of appetites. What I've done instead is give you specific cooking directions and you can make up the quantities. Of course, where quantities are given you can scale them as needed (unless otherwise stated). Besides, cooking is an adventure. You should experiment some to get things to fit your taste. But, I've often had some trouble finding conversions for some measurements in published recipes and so have put some of these on a page here.
