Sitting on a hill above Santa Cruz, the Arboretum is run by the University of California at Santa Cruz. |
| There are walking paths throughout the gardens; but be aware that you will be walking up and down hills and some of the areas are, frankly, not well maintained. |

The gardens specialize in plants from Africa, Australia, and New
Zealand.
Also, the local fauna seems to like the succulent collection. |
